Runoff!

As Mayor, I want to raise wages of city employees to $15/hr, implement a transportation policy that will address the bus shortage, invest 15% of the hotel tax into the arts, and so much more.

Runoff!

Hard-working Americans should be able to afford to live. We must work hard to not only push for a livable wage but within Dallas, provide affordable housing to lower income communities.

DeDe Alexander

for Dallas City Council District 10

A progressive candidate should be one who seeks equitable opportunities for all who want them. We believe in living wages, universal health care, affordable housing, food access, dismantling of systemic oppression, and safe conditions for all residents.

Omar Jimenez

for Dallas ISD District 4

I’m running for Dallas ISD School Board be the voice of the community that I grew up in. Dallas ISD afforded me a unique opportunity to graduate from a nationally-recognized, first class Magnet high school. I’m running for Trustee so that ALL students in DISD will have the same opportunity for an exemplary education.

Giovanni Valderas

for Dallas City Council District 1

I grew up in Oak Cliff, and as a child I watched my mother struggle... We need people representing Oak Cliff who will listen and help the neighborhood.

Lisa Kolodny

for Collin County Plano ISD

At the local level, I would not be afraid to implement new progressive policies. One of these I would push to implement would be transparency in testing, which would reveal the true amount spent on standardized testing by the district.
